Big Blue Button Lessons Start THIS WEEK

Starting this week, we will be doing live lessons on Big Blue Button. Please see the schedule of Big Blue Button lessons offered this week on the Weekly Schedule (see above section).

Big Blue Button is a video teaching platform that the district has asked teachers to use. It is on a website called iLearn. Students will need to be able to log into iLearn to participate in lessons live OR make up the lessons by watching recordings.

Later today, students will have an assignment on Google Classroom that tells them step-by-step how to enroll in our iLearn class so they can access Big Blue Button. Please go through these steps with your student to make sure they are signed in.

The first Big Blue Button on Wednesday will be a PRACTICE so students can get used to logging in. We will spend the half hour just socializing to make up for not getting to do live lessons for a few weeks, but it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that students plan on this optional session so they can practice getting in to Big Blue Button through iLearn.

Our first required lesson on Big Blue Button will be Thursday!
