Small Changes to Assignments and Grading
- Assignments WILL have due dates on then on Google Classroom to make sure that I do not miss any student’s submission (I get an email if a student turns it in if there is a due date). Due dates will be at least a day after the assignment is posted to allow for flexibility.
- If your students needs to submit it after the due date, that is understandable. It would be wonderful if all work from the week could be turned in by Sunday so we can start the next week fresh.
- Students will receive a grade out of 10 for their work in lieu of getting written feedback on some assignments. For example, a student might get 8 out of 10 on an assignment if they got 80% of math problems correct. These grades will not go toward marking period 4 report cards until the district advises teachers on grading expectations.
Need More Books for Home? Participate in the Online Scholastic Book Fair
The PTA is hosting an online book fair which runs April 8 through April 21. There’s a wide selection of materials for all ages—pre-K through high school—including books, educational workbooks, puzzles, arts and crafts, building sets, and more. Check out the “shop by grade level or age” feature.
Lindbergh earns 25% with every purchase when you click “Shop Now” from our webpage: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/lindberghflyers
In order for our school to receive credit for your purchases, you must start from that specific book fair homepage (not a Scholastic Book Club or related site) and sign in. You do not have to be a Lindbergh parent to shop… so share with your friends!
All purchases ship directly to customers, with FREE standard shipping when you spend $25 or more (on books only – not the junky stuff).
Thank you for supporting our school and we hope that this opportunity to find new books provides some joy during this uncertain time. Keep reading, Flyers!
