Family Meeting Summary

It was wonderful to connect with so many of you last night! Since there was high attendance I will just communicate with families that could not attend the Google Hangout last night individually. Please let me know if you are in need of the information from the family meeting.

Music, PE, Art, and Science Enrichment

Students have weekly assignments for each of their special classes. Students can find these assignments on Google Classroom under the Classwork tab.

Independent Study

Students should complete assignment 2 of their independent study. They can read, watch, or listen to the resources I have provided or do their own research, then answer the question. Students should spend the amount of time they committed to on this (or more!).

Students can also work on their final project with the goal of turning that in in whatever form they intend on Friday.

Math

4th: Lesson 15 on Zearn.

5th: Lessons 7 through 10 on Zearn.

ELA

1- Live read aloud on GOOGLE HANGOUT at 12:30, or listen to the YouTube videos to keep up.

2- Read a chapter book for 30 minutes.

3- Writing assignment on the topic of “My life in Quarantine.”

I am still working on putting together small reading group work for this week…That work will not be assigned today.

-I can also set up a phone call with you for the following day if you need support that cannot be fully addressed over Remind or email. Since I will also be focusing on my family during this time, I cannot guarantee a same-day phone call.
