Annoucements

• This is a difficult time for everyone. If your family is experiencing any hardship that is making completing school work a challenge, please email me or contact me on Remind. I am here to work with you!
• Progress reports for last week have been sent to your emails.
• No more Sunday due dates. I will now be giving students until Monday to turn in many Thursday and Friday assignments. This means progress reports for future weeks won;t be available until Tuesday at the earliest.

ELA

1- Thursday Reading Lesson: Students will watch the video and answer the question on the Google Slide. The assignment will be posted by 12:30.

2- New Reading Mystery Clue: Students should read the short text and then use it to decode the next clue. Students who “turn in” the correct suspect at the end of the week get a prize!

3- Informational Writing Assignment 2 is due FRIDAY.

4- Read 30 minutes.

Social Studies

4th: Students are going to think about the circular flow of money. They should click through the slideshow that gives an example of how money travels through the economy, then write their own example in the Google Doc on the assignment.

5th: Students are going to watch a TV show episode about the Boston Tea Party! Students should watch this (AWESOME) video, then answer the questions that go along with it on Google Classroom. This is due Monday.

Art, PE, Science Enrichment, and Music assignments

Students have weekly assignments for each of their special classes. Students can find these assignments on Google Classroom under the Classwork tab. These assignments are required and will factor into report card grades for those subjects.

My Availability

I will be available from 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday on the following platforms:

-Email (juntuna@dearbornschools.org)

-Teacher Office Hours are on Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 3:30 pm. Students can sign up for a phone call or FaceTime on Google Classroom.

-I can also set up a phone call with you for the following day if you need support that cannot be fully addressed over Remind or email. Since I will also be focusing on my family during this time, I cannot guarantee a same-day phone call.
