PE

Mr. Harvey has posted a lesson for the week on Google Classroom! You will find it at the top of the Google Classroom page 🙂 Complete it sometime this week.

Math

4th Grade: Do Module 4 Lesson 9 on Zearn.

5th Grade: Do Module 5 Lesson 1 on Zearn.

ELA

1- Spelling: Use your spelling words from last week to write a story that includes all 10 words. Turn it in on Google Classroom. It’s under “Writing” assignments on Google Classroom.

2- You will see an assignment called “Chapter 29 and 30 of Holes.” There will be a LIVE read aloud of Holes at 12:30 today, and every day. The assignment includes the link to that, and the link is also below:

Students can ALWAYS join at this same link. If you cannot participate in the live lesson, students are expected to turn in the assignment by following the instructions and using the resources on the post.

3- Students also need to complete the Lesson 28 read aloud assignment if they missed it (students who already participated won’t see this assignment). It is titled “Chapter 28 of Holes” and it is due today as well.

4- Also, read 30 minutes from a chapter book, of course! This will be an assignment they need to mark as “done.”

Science

Students will wrap up our lesson about hurricane preparedness and take a quiz about it. They can watch the lesson as many times as they need to before turning in the quiz.

Sharpen the Saw Challenge

With an adult’s permission, go take a walk! Details are on Google Classroom. This will be an opportunity to earn extra credit on the “life skills” part of your report card.”
