School Update

The Plan Moving Forward

Hi families!

As of Monday, March 13th, we will be conducting learning online through Google Classroom. Information will both be on this blog and on Google Classroom. We will still be covering all content areas: math, reading, social studies, science, and writing. All assignments will be posted and turned in through Google Classroom, which students have already used daily in school.

Students will be expected to complete and turn in assignments online, just as they would turn assignments in to class. Students will receive grades and will be held accountable for this work even though they are not physically in school. The learning continues!

This is a new process for all of us in Dearborn, and communication will be key during this time. I appreciate your patience as I continue to get information from the district and state of Michigan and change our plan accordingly. Please check the blog every day in order to stay up to date on assignments and on changes to our online educational plan. We will continue with online schooling until the week of April 6th through 10th, which is our scheduled Spring Break. As of right now, we are scheduled to return to in-person classes Monday, April 13th.

Google Classroom Instructions

Over the weekend please help your students practice logging into Google Classroom at home. Your child needs to know how to use Google Classroom using their technology at home in order to continue building their academic skills.

Below I have included a link with instructions for how to get on to Google Classroom. Students should be able to get onto the site as long as they are logged in with their student google account and navigate to the Google Classroom website.
