Happy Wednesday:

Today your child is bringing home the gingerbread houses they made.  They did a wonderful job 🙂  Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come in and help.  I really appreciate it!

Homework:

1. Spelling activities are due tomorrow
2. Read for 15 minutes.

Tomorrow is pajama day. If you want to wear pajamas please bring in $1 for the fundraiser to help the people in Yemen.  Thank you to those students who have donated.  It’s so nice to see such generosity 🙂

Tomorrow we are doing our book exchange.  If you want to participate you need to bring in a gently used book to put in the book swap.

Important Reminders for the coming week:

1. Our 2nd grade Literacy meeting is on Monday 12/17/18 at 2:45 pm in our class, room 107.  Please attend.
2. Our class holiday party is Wednesday 12/19/18 from 2:00-3:30.  We are in need of parent volunteers and we need materials to be donated for our gingerbread houses and craft.  If you are able to volunteer or send in an item please fill out the white sheet your child brought home yesterday.  The sheets are due on Monday and materials should be turned in by Tuesday.  Thank you very much for your generosity.

Today your child is bringing home a paper regarding our class party next Wednesday.  We will be making a holiday craft and gingerbread houses.  If you are willing to donate any needed materials please send back the form with your child tomorrow so I know what you are going to be sending in.  The materials need to be turned in by next Tuesday so I can buy anything else we don’t get.  We also are in need of parent volunteers to help facilitate these activities from 2:00-3:30 next Wednesday 12-19-18.  If you can volunteer please mark it on your child’s form and turn it back in.  Thank you so much 🙂

Next Monday we have our parent literacy meeting in our classroom from 2:45-3:30.  All parents are encouraged to attend.
