  1. Next Wednesday we have our mid-module math test.  I am sending home a packet today of problems students can work on to practice.  They can also practice this online study guide.  The packet does not need to come back to school, this is for you to practice with at home.

Wednesday 3-20-19

Homework for today-

  1. Complete the math worksheet
  2. Complete your spelling activities- all 4 weekly spelling activities are due tomorrow.

    2. Also review the three branches of government worksheet you brought home today.  You will have an activity over this tomorrow so you’ll need to know what each branch does.

Tuesday 3-19-18

Happy Tuesday:

Homework for today-

  1. Complete the math worksheet
    1. You only have to do math problems 1, 3, and 5.  You do not need to do problems 2 and 4 (but of course you may if you want more practice 🙂 )
  2. Read- make sure you are filling on the March is reading month slip for Ms. McMahon. You and your mom or dad must sign it.

For March is Reading Month the theme for tomorrow is Pajama Day 🙂  I look forward to seeing everyone in their comfy pj’s.

Reminders:

  1. Tomorrow is the spelling Test
  2. Reading Logs for this week for MARCH IS READING MONTH must be turned in tomorrow.  No late forms will be accepted.
  3. We have several field trips coming up in April.  If you are a parent who is interested in being a chaperone an I-CHAT form must be filled out in the office and submitted to the state.  This process takes between 3 weeks to a month so if you have not filled out this form please do it ASAP.  No parent is allowed to chaperone unless this form is on file.  We have several exciting trips planned that you won’t want to miss 🙂

  2. Practice the social studies study guide I posted on the blog.  The test is next Friday.
  3. 4 weekly spelling activities are due tomorrow.

3-12-19 and Social Studies Study Guide

Here is the link for the online social studies study guide.  We will be taking the test next Friday 3-22-19 so students have 10 days to practice.  Short answer questions on the test will cover topics such as diversity, patriotism, and choices students can make. Happy studying.
