I have photos of the class I would like to share through Class Dojo but do not have updated photo release forms for this school year. Please see your students home folder and return the photo release by Friday 10/25/19.
If you opt out please make sure your student understands they may be excluded from group photos or a sticker might be placed over their face in shared group photos to protect their identity.

Parent Teacher Conferences are approaching! Please take a moment to sign up for conferences using the sign up genius link below if you have not already.
Please continue to initial your students homework calendar each night they read for 15-20 minutes. Math homework can be turned in as it is completed.
Please follow the link below to sign up genius and select a date and time for parent teacher conferences. There are three dates for conferences November 7, 12, 14. I look forward to seeing everyone!
Please do not allow your student to bring toys to school they are not necessary and have become an issue. After today toys from home will be confiscated and not returned until a parent retrieves them from the office.

The October homework calendar will be placed in folders tomorrow. We took the module one math test today and will begin module 2 tomorrow.

Below are a few items to keep you up to date.
Class Dojo – We have started using class Dojo thank you to all the families who have already joined our class if you have not already please see the instructions in your students home folder.
Math -The module one math test is on Monday. Students completed a practice test in class on Thursday and we went over each answer in class today. Students should have brought their practice test home to study. Additional practice tests can be found under the Eureka math tab on iBlog. Students can also review lessons on Zearn as a way to study.

Please check your student’s home folder for their exit ticket and notes for lessons 7 & 8. Many students choose to not pay attention or bother to take down the notes we completed together in class today. If your student did not get 100% on the exit ticket I would like for you to sign the exit ticket and speak with them about their behavior in class.
