My policy for rounding grades can be found on your syllabus. Please refer to that if you have any questions regarding that procedure. I will not forget to do it, nor will I round arbitrarily; if your grade meets the requirement, you will receive the bump. If your grade does not meet it, you will not. It is a very clearly stated policy, it should need no explanation.
this is a really cool thing…

Poetry Project
There are still several of you who have not given me your poet’s name. You have until midnight tonight to do so, or else you will lose points on your project. Do not wait until the last minute because I will need to approve it via email or blog, and I go to bed at a reasonable time.
Many of you can not afford to lose points on this…there are only 10 days left in the semester…be vigilant about due dates…
Important Dates
SRI testing in the media center May 29th.
Last day for book talks June 4th.
Literary letters and exit tickets due by June 10th.
Scholarship Opportunity
Please come to class with this prepared for tomorrow.
You will need 5 sheets of paper, folded like we always do for annotations. You will be doing a partner read, but both people need their own annotation sheets. You will not have time in class to prepare this.
