  1. Hi Ms. Jamieson,
It’s Alaa. You gave is the second double entry journal that was posted, however your post says to do the first, so was that just a typo.

    • Alaa,

If you go back and look, you will see that particular part of the post was addressed to Syed, who was absent today. Please do the assignment I gave you in class today.
      Ms J

  2. Hey Ms. Jamieson, I turned in my Literary Letter on Monday, even though it was due Friday and I noticed that I wrote it completely wrong. Is it okay for me to redo it and turn it in tomorrow or Friday? Thanks.

    • Hassan,
Sure, I’m not grading them until this weekend anyway. Just make sure you write REVISED on the top of the new one so I don’t get confused when I’m grading. You can put it in the tray any time before the end of the day Friday.

  3. Evening Ms.Jamieson,
I realize that this is completely irrelevant, but do you watch the Sherlock series? They came out with a season three trailor and I needed someone to share my excitement with because none of my family or friends watch it. Oh, and if you don’t watch it, you definitely should.

    • Samira,
Good television is never irrelevant. I don’t watch Sherlock, but I’ve heard really good things about it. I’ll try to get started on season 1 over the break. When does season 3 come out? Thanks for the recommendation, I needed another distraction from grading the rewrites…KIDDING!

      • Ms.Jamieson,
There really is no set date for the third season, though there have been rumors that it’s either coming out in November, or the beginning of 2014. So you have plenty of time to catch up, since there are only two seasons and three episodes in each. Although the episodes are movie length. Thank you for taking the time to respond, and you are right. Good television is never irrelevant.

  4. Hi again Ms. Jamieson,
Oh ok I’m sorry I guess I should have looked a little more carefully at it.

    – Alaa Abouhashim
