Today’s bellwork reviewed vocabulary terms from Topic 1 (Chapter 1) and classifying lines and rays.

For the remainder of the hour, we went over yesterday’s homework over classifying triangles. Students also began exploring the online textbook with a scavenger hunt activity. Attached below are today’s class materials.

Scavenger Hunt Activity is homework if it was not completed in class. Use the time over weekend to explore the site more.

Today’s bellwork reviewed classifying/naming lines, points, and planes.

For the remainder of the hour, students worked on a practice activity using protractors. We also took a look at classifying triangles: based on their angles and sides. See below for today’s class materials.

Hwk #3 – Classifying Triangles Worksheet is due tomorrow.

Today’s bellwork reviewed terms from yesterday’s vocab sheet. Looking at a diagram, students had to name the following terms.

Hwk #1 (Vocab Sheet #1) and Signed Syllabus were due today.

For the remainder of the hour, we went over the introduction to Topic 1 (Chapter 1); looking at points, lines, and planes. Students got a chance to begin their homework in class. See below for today’s class materials.

Hwk #2 (Vocab Sheet #2) is due tomorrow.

Welcome back, Students!

Today was a half day schedule. Students worked on a reflection assignment in class. It was due at the end of the hour. See below for the prompt:

Reflect on this quote and in 5-8 sentences explain (in detail) how this can relate to a Math course. How does this quote relate to you specifically? You may bring up real-life examples from past experiences.
