Happy first week of school!
This week we dove into our classroom rules and procedures, calendar mat, morning work, and specials: art, music, and the media center.
Our math focus this week is counting and comparing whole numbers using “greater than” and “less than” math terms. Our language arts focus this week is answering questions about nonfiction text using details.
As always, everyday we too focus on alphabet work, sight words, and basic computation.
Friendly Reminders:
-Fifth grade t-shirt money is due 9/11.
-Zoo field trip is on 9/27. Permission slips went home today.
