A Farewell Message…

Dear families,

I write to you on the last day of school to thank you for all of your hard work and patience with your students these last couple months of school. It has been a pleasure being your child’s teacher this year and I look forward to seeing the fourth graders as fifth graders next year.

Here are some recommended tips to keep up with summer learning that I encourage you to follow:

Due to this year’s circumstances, I will check my email throughout the summer if you have any questions, or to inform you on any updates on what the schools will look like next year. As of right now, much remains undetermined by our school board and government.

Fifth grade families, the parade was a success yesterday. Thank you for your support. As the students move into Stout Middle School next year, please encourage as much independence as you can this summer for tasks such as dressing, communication, and motivation. Have conversations with them about why they are moving to a new school, and reassure them of their success. They will be seeing many familiar faces at the middle school program. They will make us proud! Please enjoy this fifth grade video put together by our writing teacher Ms. Alsaad.
