I am a bit confused by one bullet point in your email.
For any paid days off or qualified no-pay days used the bonus will be reduced by $100 per day for full-time employees.
Does this mean that if I have not accrued enough paid time off days to cover all the no school days, that my bonus will be reduced? I may have missed something in one of the other bullets, but would just like some clarification. Thanks!
Days where there is no school and no scheduled work will not be counted against the incentive. Scheduled work days misses due to sick, personal business and no-pay days will count against the incentive.
I just want to confirm that unlike last years incentive, we can use up to 6 days for hourly. Then for every day beyond 6 you lose $100, so day 7 you are reduced 100 then day 8 you lose an additional 100 until day 12 in which you forfeit the total incentive.
Steve, Any days used will count against the incentive. This is the same as the past incentives.
Thank you for clarifying, the phrasing in this line is a bit miss leading.
“Employees that use less than six paid sick days, personal business days or no-pay days within the employee’s control, for the period of November 1, 2015 through June 16, 2016, shall be eligible for up to a $600 bonus for full-time employees.”
Yes the wording is confusing. Per contract we are entitled to so many sick/personal days.(if needed). If 6 days are left at the end of school year, we DO NOT receive full incentive
Sorry the wording is confusing to you. The incentive is for not using time off. It has nothing to do with time in the banks at the end of the year.
The majority of our employees received this bonus last year. Those who did not receive any bonus were allowed to be off with pay for six or more work days. The paid days off are provided under the collective bargaining agreements as income protection should employees need time off. The bonuses are above and beyond as a reward for those who are able to consistently show up.
