Green Team Meeting October 12th 4-5 PM

Hi Everyone,

I’m sorry I missed out 1st meeting. I was very sick and missed 6 days of school! But I am better now and ready for Green Team to begin! We will usually meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The students will come to my room directly after school and will be picked up at the playground door at 5 PM.

I looking forward to working with everyone!

Pond Exploration

We had a great time at the pond exploration yesterday! The students enjoyed a lot of close up Hands-On experiences with nature. Thank you to Mrs Fakih and Chehab for the pizza and drinks! Thank you to all the chaperones that joined us! And thank you to all the parents that remembered me during teacher appreciation week with gifts and flowers! This was our last meeting. It was a great year! I hope to see the fourth graders in green team again next year! Here are the photos.

  • All personal vehicles must be parked on the third floor of the Monteith Parking Structure, located next to the Campus support services building.
  • The parking fee has been waived for the academic year 2022-23.
  • A bus lane is available for loading/unloading directly in front of our building.
  • Click here for more information about parking on campus.
  • Please remind your students and chaperones about appropriate field trip behavior. The outdoor program site is a nature sanctuary and Environmental Study Area, so quiet group behavior is essential to a successful, focused, and non-disruptive program. Cell phones should be silenced and pocketed. No plants or animals are to be collected from the area. Smoking is not allowed on the UM-Dearborn campus.
  • We strongly recommend bringing and applying insect repellent for mosquitoes and ticks. The outdoor program site is known to have ticks, including Deer Ticks, the type that can carry Lyme Disease. As such, we recommend taking measures to prevent tick exposure, including applying insect repellent that repels ticks, wearing long pants, and staying on marked trails. For more information on Michigan ticks and tick prevention, click here.
