Permission slip to our field trip due on Thursday 5/9. See previous post for more information. Remember students must be driven by an adult.
I still need a volunteer to watch students and bring a couple of pizzas on 5/30.
Schedule for trip on 5/30 –
3:40 – Eat pizza in cafeteria as soon as your parent comes to pick you up you can go to the Environmental interpretive center. I will meet everyone there as soon as all kids are picked up.
I’m in the process of getting our field trip set up to the University of Michigan Environmental Interpretive Center. I have requested 5/30 4:00-5:30 for our trip, I am just waiting on confirmation. I will be sending out the permission slip as soon as the trip is confirmed. Here are the details:

I need a parent volunteer to purchase pizza and watch the kids. We can eat a quick slice of pizza at 3:40 before we go. Please start eating as soon as the pizza arrives and leave when done eating. I will meet you at the center as soon as I know everyone has a ride. The ground will probably be muddy so wear appropriate shoes and clothing to get a little messy. We will be doing a pond exploration and a walk in the woods.

Green Team will be participating in an Alternative Energy Fair on March 19th. On our last Green Team meeting we hung our bird feeders and then chose our topics for the Alternative Energy Fair. If you did not attend the last meeting on 2/22 then you should follow this link and pick a topic. Each student will create a trifold board with what they learned about their alternative energy topic. We will presenting at the same time that we are presenting our Black History Biography Lapbooks.
