Today, Amir and Ana we’re sworn in as this year’s new Junior City Beautiful commissioners at the City Beautiful breakfast. We got our picture taken with the mayor which will be sent to us soon. We are a nice breakfast and got to listen to several interesting speeches. The mayor’s speech was the most interesting. Did you know that the mayor walks a different neighborhood each week with his staff picking up trash and looking for problems that need to be solved? Did you know that the mayor is planning to install rain gardens and all the neighborhoods of Dearborn in the median between the sidewalk and the street?
