Elementary Honors Choir Upcoming Holiday Performances:
December 17 -Youth/Children’s Choir Festival
Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament (9844 Woodward Ave., Detroit)
SCHEDULE:
1:15PM – Students must be dropped off Stout Middle School and will be bused to the event.
2:00 PM – Honors Choir arrives to Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament (9844 Woodward Ave., Detroit)
2:05 PM – Choirs rehearse on the stage.
2:50 PM – All choirs rehearse finale piece.
3:15 PM – Doors Open, Snacks for Students backstage.
4:00 PM – Concert Begins: parents are invited to join for a beautiful holiday concert at Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament (9844 Woodward Ave., Detroit) Cost is FREE!
- Each choir will perform their individual set during this time. In between each set, the audience will stand and sing holiday carols. Honors Choir Members must stay for the ENTIRE CONCERT.
- Finale Piece – Michigan Christmas Air performed by all Choirs attending.
6:00 PM – Concert Ends: all students must be picked up by a parent or guardian.
***Please note there is not busing back to Stout, please join at 4:00PM for an afternoon of singing and Holiday Cheer.
December 22- Holiday Nights
The Henry Ford (20900 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn)
SCHEDULE:
6:00 PM Meet in the Josephine Ford Plaza by the fountain promptly
PLEASE BE ON TIME! Guests (including parents) will not be able to enter the Village until 6:30. I will let parents know the exact singing location for the night when you drop off your child.
6:30 PM- 9:30 PM We will sing off and on throughout the night. (We will take breaks, depending on weather)
Each singer will receive one complimentary ticket to use for a guest (parent/chaperone). I will be passing them out when we meet at the Josephine Ford Plaza.
If you wish purchase addtional tickets to see the choir perform, you must purchase ahead of time either on the website https://www.thehenryford.org/current-events/calendar/holiday-nights-in-greenfield-village/ or by calling 313-982-6220. In the event that the evening is sold out, Henry Ford will not be able to accommodate addtional tickets, so please be aware of this.
