This are just a few reminders:
– Tomorrow is our field trip to The Henry Ford Museum
– Test retakes are after school tomorrow and students have to sign-up prior to arrival and are great sites to help students prepare for NWEA testing and I highly recommend students practice for NWEA over winter break

“Nadia the Willful” test is scheduled for Friday, December 14, 2018. Students can prepare by rereading the story, studying the vocabulary words, review types of conflict, author’s purpose, and types of sentences. The IXL and Read Theory homework is due on Monday, December 17, 2018.

December 4, 2018

Homework: Students are to complete IXL’s JJ.1, JJ.2, JJ.3, and JJ.4 with a smart goal of 80 or above. Also, complete and pass 5 passages on Read Theory. This is due on Monday, December 17, 2018. We began reading and annotating “Nadia the Willful” this week. I’m anticipating that we will have a test by the end of next week, if we finish the required lessons.

1. Complete IXL O.4, O.5, O.6 for 6th grade Language Arts with a smart score of 80 (Due on Monday,Nov. 19 2018).
2. Complete five Read Theories with a passing score of 80 (Due on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018).

Conferences: If you did not have the opportunity to come out and meet with us yesterday, conferences will be held again on Wed. Nov. 14, 2018 from 3:30-6:30.

November 5, 2018

Students will not have school tomorrow because of Election Day. They have a new IXL homework assignment which will be due on Monday, November 12, 2018. They have O.1, O.2, and O.3 to complete with a smart goal of 80. Also, they are required to complete 5 Read Theory assignments with a score of 80 or above. Both homework assignments are due on Nov. 12. Today is the first day of Card Marking Period 2.
