Good morning! It is so nice to finally see the sun shine 🙂

Tomorrow morning is our field trip to the Dearborn Historical Museum. Please have your child dress for being outside. We will be walking between 3 buildings and leaving our coats on in each building for the activities we’ll be doing. Wear gym shoes.

Our spelling words this week: cage, range, large, pledge, bulge. The Dolch words: off, fast, tell, of, will.

Our reading strategies will continue with using pictures and illustrations to help us understand text and how repeated phrases in a story add to the meaning.

We’ll continue with opinion writing this week by writing what they enjoyed on our trip with reasons to support their opinion.

Math continues with adding and subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers.

Social studies is our trip this week as we learn about Dearborn’s history and life in the past.

Science continues with ways the Earth has changed slowly and quickly to create landforms.
