Dear Families,
On Monday, June 1st, Henry Ford will be distributing personal student materials from our classrooms (pencil boxes, clothing, etc.)The distribution will take place from 10:30-2:30 on Driscoll.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE – On Monday, please return all readingbooks that were sent home in your child’s reading bag. We areasking that you put these books inside a Ziploc bag or shoppingbag and write “Locke/Baydoun” on the outside. Please make surethe bags are tightly sealed as they will be placed in a large binwith other materials. We will be using these books with newstudents in the future so it’s very important they are returned.

As for now, chromebooks are to be kept with you at home forsummer practice and will be returned at a later date.

Please check the weekly schedule for the assignments posted for the week of May 18-22. We will not have any assignments posted for Friday, or next Monday due the Memorial Day Holiday.

Please continue to send written assignments in Class Dojo into the portfolios for credit. If you need assistance please contact your child’s teacher for directions.

On Friday, May 8th you may come by Henry Ford to pick up a writing journal and pencils for your child if you need them at home. Parents will not be permitted to enter the building to pick up any of your child’s belongings at this time. If you like to pick up some supplies for your child that day you may drive by from 1:00-1:30.

Hello Parents,
The first grade teachers have made a calendar for parents to use that will be located in both our Classroom Dojo and google classroom. The calendar is set up for you to have students complete work for each day of the week. There are also links located in the calendar for students to access for lessons as well.
First grade meetings for students will take place on Fridays and these are the schedules for each teacher:
Charboneau: 3:00p.m.

We hope you all had an opportunity to enjoy some of the nice weather during Spring break.

In the next few days we will be sending out information regarding how the first grade team will be moving forward with remote learning. Parents will be getting details on how to access Google Classroom and how to use it to access your child’s lessons and assignments for all subject areas. Please make sure to check your child’s teacher Class Dojo daily for important messages. We will also be updating the First grade IBlog weekly for information as well.

Thank you again for all of your help as we all enter this new format of teaching! Please be patient with us as this is a new way of teaching and connecting with your child. We will work together to navigate this new teaching experience!
