Signed Syllabus
The first week of school all students were given a syllabus. The signed portion was the first gradebook assignment. Please make sure you have turned it in to receive credit. Any student that has not turned it in will not be permitted to use equipment.
Teens and Tots have been doing a great job preparing different recipes in the kitchen! Soon we will move on to the Child Development section of the class!
Recipe Assignment
All students were able to use a Chrome Book to research a classroom friendly recipe yesterday. If it has not been submitted please complete at home by the end of this week.
After finding the recipe these are the steps to creating the assignment :
- Create a google doc
- Copy the recipe into the doc
- Read the recipe directions and locate cooking terms
- Make a list of cooking terms and definitions on the bottom of the doc
- Submit to me

Time for child friendly foods and recipes
Teens and Tots students have learned all about ages and stages of children. It is now time for students to implement their knowledge and use it in the kitchen to prepare a few simple recipes that are child friendly. Students have learned how to work as a team and use safety skills in the kitchen while cooking. They will make approximately three recipes one of which each group creates their own recipe.
Pillows are coming along:)
Pillows in the making
Students are hard at work following the steps of their sewing projects. We are almost finished cutting the projects and soon will be sewing them.
