We hope this message finds you all in good health. Woodworth Middle School will be handing out chromebooks to students who still need technology on Monday, April 27th from 12-2.  Parent and student ID must be present in order to get a chromebook. We will be handing chromebooks out off of Hubbard Drive facing Greenfield – Door #7.  We are asking everyone to stay in their car and drive up waiting for directions from our volunteers.  We ask everyone to adhere to the strict guidelines of social distancing in order to protect our families and our volunteers.

From Monday April 20 to Friday April 24

Language Arts: Raz-Kids…. Read five (5) new books and write a summary for each book.Take a picture of your summary and send it to me. Make sure to write your name, the title of the book, and the date. Each summary is worth ten (10) points.

Math: I-Ready; work for 20 minutes each day. IXL; Continue working on your assigned skills.

Science: Go to Brainpop; login is woodworthMS. Password is hornets2020. Click on science. Look for unit, click on energy then, watch the video for the following: Conserving Energy, Current Electricity, Electric Circuit, and Electricity. After that, take the quiz for each of the topic.

Social Studies: Go to brainpop. Look for Ancient Culture. Click on Agricultural Revolution watch the video and take the quiz. Do the same for Athens, Cleopatra, and Egyptian Pharaohs. Take a picture of each of your brainpop quizzes and send it to phone. The number is 3132688087. Don’t forget to mention your name and the date.

Go to IXL Language Arts and practice the skills you were working on while in class(half an hour each day).

Packet: work on the next five pages; Main Idea, George Washington, My Dream, Summarize, Can You Find Home?

Math: 7th grade.Continue working on the skills from where you were before you left school.( half an hour each day).

I-Ready: (40 minutes each day).

Social Studies: Go to Brainpop. Click on Social Studies, click on geography Longitude and Latitude. Listen to the video and take the quiz and email your score to beydour@dearbornschools.org
