Great news, in an effort to strengthen virtual learning platform Miller Elementary Administration in coordination with Dearborn Public Schools Superintendents Office have authorized the distribution of Chromebooks to the PARENTS of Miller Elementary students who DO NOT have a learning device at home.

Chromebook Distribution Schedule
Miller Cafeteria
Parents of Kindergarten through Second Grade Students may check out a Chromebook between 9:00 – 10:30 A.M.
Parents of 3rd – 5th Grade Students may check out a Chromebook between 10:30 – 12 P.M.
ONLY Parents of Miller students will be allowed to sign out one Chromebook per Miller student. Please bring a valid ID (Michigan Driver’s License or ID Card) and be prepared to provide Student(s) ID number. Homework 3/13-3/20

Homework:

  1. Reading: Students will be expected to use I-Ready for 45 minutes a week which will include two lessons. Lessons must be completed until the student passes with an 85 percent pass rate.Students must read for 30 minutes a day using their reading bags. Have students recount/retell their reading upon completion. *** If you can’t access IReady There is an I ready assignment-Reading in GOOGLE Classroom.
  2. Writing: Students must respond to a writing prompt every week through Google Classroom.
  3. Spelling Notebook: Choose an activity from the spelling choice board. Complete one activity each day.
  4. Spelling Words: alone, again, agree, comma, idea, also, bake, blow, cross, drop
  5. Math: Click PDF – complete page #: 3, 4, and 5. You can PRINT or complete the problems on a separate sheet of paper. Students must also use Zearn for math. Students must practice on Zearn for at least an hour a week. If you took your math books please complete any blank pages.
