Read 20minutes and color a brick on the reading log. You should have 14 by this coming Monday. Bring in your log on Monday to receive a second prize.

On Thursday, March 24, our class will attend a field trip in the morning to the Dearborn Historical Museum. I will be in need of only 2 chaperones. Please indicate on the permission slip if you would like to chaperone. The first two chaperones to return the slip will be attending. We will have another opportunity for chaperones on our trip in May. We will also be sharing a bus with River Oak’s 2nd graders. I am sending the slips today. They are due by Tuesday, March 22. Cost of the trip is $5. The two chaperones are free. Click below:

Reading Logs= I checked everyone in today that brought one. 80% of our 2nd grade class returned the Wizard of Oz Reading Log! Wahoo! We are in the lead for winning a Pizza Parrrrtttyyy!!! Read 20 minutes tonight.

Applications for the 2022-2023 school year have been posted to the website for anyone interested in joining our Howe School family. Current students do NOT need to reapply, however, new siblings will need to submit an application. We will be accepting applications from now until April 4. If needed, the lottery will take place on April 8 and notifications will be made the week of April 11. Siblings of current students will have first placement. I have included a link to the application for your convenience.

Yearbooks can be ordered through 3-21-22. Thank you.

Friday, March 4 is the PTA Popcorn Day. If your child would like to buy a bag of popcorn, please send him/her with $1. Thanks!
