Back in the fall, students took the NWEA tests either in person or online. Those students that took it online with me on zoom, already have completed the following checks on your computer. For the rest of you, please click on the link below to prepare your computer for this test.

This link will prompt you to do 3 things:

1. Device Readiness:  You will get a Pass or Fail on whether your device can administer the assessment.
2. Check the Map Growth testing site: If your device is compatible, you will then be able to ensure your child can login properly to test.  Often pop-up blockers prevent logging in.
3. Practice Test: You can login to a practice test if you and your child would like.  Your child has logged in to NWEA before, but testing from home is a new experience for all!
   • Click the BLUE “Try the Practice Test” once you see the Login Screen or you can access the practice test at any time with the link: https://studentresources.nwea.org/

Hi boys and girls. I am not feeling well today. I won’t be Zooming with you for the day. I have left you assignments in Reading, Math and Social Studies. My Learning labs are cancelled this afternoon too. Study for your Spelling test for tomorrow.

The end of the quarter is Friday, January 22. Please have your child review Schoology for missing assignments. Science and Social Studies had new postings last week. I will be posting new ones tomorrow and they will go on this quarter’s report card. Thank you.

Your child will need a copy of the Stone Soup Outline for Monday’s class. If you cannot print, have your child draw the chart on paper.
