Math Homework 9-14-21

Hello! I forgot to post yesterday’s homework. Sorry. Yesterday’s work was to do lesson 5 in the Succeed book page 21. Do numbers 1abcd and e. Then on page 22 do 2ab.

Today’s work is Lesson 6 on page 25. Do number 1 , 2 and 3. On page 26 do fg and h.

You can do today’s work tomorrow since it may be too much to do both lessons tonight. You have an extra day to turn in the work. Thanks.

Volunteers and Chaperones

This school year, we will be planning a couple of field trips to various places. We ask that parents drive and chaperone their own child to and from these field trips. In order to do this, our school must have a “Volunteers and Chaperones Criminal Conviction History Form” completed, signed and in the office at least 10 days before a trip. Let’s take care of this form now. I will be sending the form home today in your child’s Red Communication Folder. Please fill it out, sign it and return it in the Red Communication Folder. We also will need a copy of your driver’s license. This form will only need to be completed once this school year. This is for the safety of all our students. Thank you. If you have questions, you can can contact Bernadette in the office or there is a phone number at the top of the form that you can call for answers. We appreciate your cooperation.

Star Student

For the week of September 20, we will begin having a “Star Student” each week. I have a neat poster for each child to fill out and color. I will send it home the week before a child is the “Star Student”. Please have your child color the whole poster neatly and fill in the information it asks. The poster asks what your child’s favorite sport is, what makes him/her laugh, what he/she is really good at, etc. Your child will have an opportunity to share the poster with the class out loud and then I will hang it in the hall on our bulletin board. See below for the schedule. Make sure your child brings the poster on the Monday of his/her “Star Student” week. Please know that these dates may need to change based on unforeseen reasons.
