Hope everyone had a restful and peaceful break. We are off and running today! A few things to know:
- I posted an activity in Science today. We are starting a new Unit on water and how it shapes our land.
- Math- I reposted the place value disks page. We will continue to use these throughout Module 4. If your child’s disks got lost or damaged, reprint , cut and put in a baggie.
- We are starting a new class called Social and Emotional Learning. SEL for short. It will be on Wednesdays from 1-1:30. Gym will be right after the SEL class. This class will be lead by our social worker Ms. Kawkab Hachem. She is so awesome and fun. I’ve had a chance to work with her a little in the fall. I think the children will like her a lot. She will be addressing things like compassion towards each other, mental wellness, empathy, leadership, conflict resolution and the list goes on and on. Please join her zoom on Wednesdays. - It was wonderful to see all the children on zoom today. I missed them over the break. :>
