Fourth grade is an exciting time for students! It is also a time of great growth, where students learn that they are truly capable of doing anything that they put their minds to! Your child has the power to choose to be GREAT, this year and not settle for good! The fourth grade team looks forward to helping your child find his/her true potential.

Earth Day/Going Green Theme:
We are looking for posters that emphasize Earth Day! This is a day to celebrate our environment: air, water, land, wildlife, and ecosystems! The posters must represent one or more Earth Day or Going Green themes. It could be about, alternative energy, reducing pollution in air and water, recycling, reusing, etc. Anything along those lines.
BACK OF POSTER MUST HAVE in the top left corner:

Teacher Name and Grade
Posters will be due on Thursday April 30th.
Comic Strip Book Report
Your assignment over the spring break is to create a comic strip. You are required to finish the book you are currently reading and create a comic on a poster board.
On your poster include the following:
List all the most important events that occur in the book (B-M-E) with illustrations
Captions are related to the scenes and the book
The main characters are clearly identified, and their actions and dialogue

1. On the construction paper trace the right and left hand of your hands.
2. On each finger of your left hand list inherited traits.
3. On each finger of your right hand list acquired or learned traits.
4. On each thumb write your first and last name.
You can cut the hands out but do not glue the hands together.
