We are a NUT FREE room!
Parents,
Just a reminder that we are a NUT FREE room. Students may NOT bring any type of food into the room that contains nuts. If they have something in their lunch, it must remain in their lunch box until lunch time. This includes anything with peanut butter, Honey-Nut Cheerios, granola bars, etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email. Thanks!

Two Schools Hold Events To Support Cipriano Memorial
All are welcome to attend two separate fundraising events taking place in June.
Edsel Ford High School, 20601 Rotunda, Dearborn 48124, will host their first annual JKLP Walk-A-Thon. The event will occur Thursday, June 14, from noon to 2 p.m. on the beautiful tree lined campus of Edsel Ford High School. A minimum donation of $10 is requested. Proceeds will benefit the Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet, The Cipriano Scholarship, and the Cipriano family. District created JKLP wrist bands will be distributed to all donating participants. Additional wrist bands can be purchased for $5.00 the day of the event.
Bryant Middle School, 460 N. Vernon, Dearborn 48128, will be putting on a very special Talent Show to benefit the Cipriano family on Wednesday, June 6, beginning at 6:30 pm. Admission is $5.00 for every adult and $3.00 for every child. Additional donations will be accepted. All are welcome to attend.
Checks should be made payable to the Dearborn Education Foundation with the memo “Cipriano Memorial Fund” on the check. All proceeds collected by the Foundation will directly benefit the cross-country event, scholarship and Cipriano family.
The district continues to sell special rose-colored bracelets (in honor of Bob’s wife Rose) with the letters JKLP and the words “Just Keep Loving People” written on them. Bob’s son Tanner used these words to inspire and deliver a message of hope to the 1,500 people gathered at Bob’s funeral.
Bracelets are available in the Communications Office at the Administration Building, 18700 Audette, or by visiting www.dearbornedfoundation.org where you can purchase on-line.
Direct donations can be made by visiting a DFCU Financial branch or you can visit a local Comerica branch and someone there will help direct your donation to the cause.
Honor’s Assembly Change
Parents please join us for the Honors Assembly for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade on Tuesday, June 12 at 1:00 in the Auditorium.
