Diamond Jack
Good afternoon! Thank you to those who were interested in going on the Diamond Jack Boat Tour on Monday. I had many parents who were interested, however I was only allowed to choose one. Well since I have the best group of parents EVER, it was hard to choose. So instead, I put names in a bucket and drew them out. The winner was Mrs. Zaban! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and I look forward to seeing you at Field Day on Friday!
Field Day
Parents,
We need 2 volunteers to walk with us to the Civic Center. If you can walk, let me know. Also, everyone else who signed up to volunteer, please meet us at the Civic Center. Thanks!
Science Fair
The Body Systems Science Fair will be from 1-2:30 in the classrooms. Mrs. Klein’s class will be in her room and Mrs. Gwizdz’s class will be in her room. Please visit both rooms. The students worked hard!
Music Concert
Our music concert will take place this morning at 9:00 in our room. Hope to see you there!
Kickball Game
The annual 5th grade vs. teachers kickball game will be Friday, May 29th at 2:00 on the baseball field. Spectators are welcome and encouraged!
Daily 5 Outside!
We have had several opportunities to have Daily 5 outside!
Rocket Ryan Comes to Science Class!
Rocket Ryan brought us some pretty interesting things to explore last Tuesday in his Goo, Globs and Guts program. We got to explore sheep kidneys and sheep hearts, as well as a calf heart and a calf liver. We also did an experiment on chemical digestion and used acid to make goop, which also showed how the body digests food. A great time was had by all. Thank you, Rocket Ryan!
Field Day
Please remember to send in your Field Day contribution this week. We are asking for a minimum of $5 per child. Thank you!
