Math Packets

Hello and welcome back!  What a nice, restful break I had!  But I am ready to be back, and the students seem to be ready as well.

Some of our fifth graders are coming home with math packets.  These are packets of extra practice problems they struggled with on their last test.  These packets are due back on Friday.  Students should work on them at home for about 20-30 minutes each night.  Students should work on these a little at a time, practicing over time.  They are not meant to be completed in one day!  We will also be working on them during math workshop in class, and they will have many chances to ask questions and receive extra help.

The math test retake will be Monday morning, January 12th at 8:00 am in my room.  Please make sure to sign the tests that came home today.
