Third, Fourth, and Fifth Graders are learning about “TEAM” Building.  In Science Enrichment the students work in groups to explore Science concepts.  This week they were involved in a “Cup Tower” rebuilding challenge using only a rubber band and 4 pieces of string.  The students had to work cooperatively and communicate with one another using the rubber band and string tool.

Content Objective:  I can demonstrate application of working in a team by solving the “Cup Tower Rebuilding Challenge” using solo cups, rubber bands, and 4 pieces of string to create a useful tool.

Language Objective:   I can orally explain what team work skills worked best to rebuild the tower and what cooperative skills my team needs to work on.

Here are a few pictures of the students working as a “TEAM”!
