STUDYING TIP!

SET GOALS

Once you get a feel for your classes, determine a goal for each one. One example is what final grade you want to receive. This will give you more incentive to do well. Just remember to be realistic with your goals.

END OF 1st MARKING PERIOD IS APPROACHING

All Students- The end of 1st marking period is quickly approaching, so here are a few things that you can do to make sure that you are up to date in your classes:

1. Regularly check your Student Connect to monitor your work, grades and overall progress.
2. If you find that you are missing any work posted in your student connect, check in with your teacher regarding the missing work and get it completed for full or partial credit.
3. Check to see if your teachers are offering any extra credit work to help improve your grades.
4. Study, Study, Study- Make studying comfortable. Do not force yourself to work for hours at a time without stopping to take a break. Take short breaks to enjoy a snack, stretch or just
walk around a bit. This will help you focus better when you return…. you won’t feel so overwhelmed….and your brain will thank you!
