Good afternoon,

We will begin NWEA testing next week:

Tuesday, May 14th READING

Wednesday, May 15th READING continued

We will test our math skills on the following week:

Tuesday, May 21st  MATH

Wednesday, May 22nd MATH continued

Please be sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast prior to each of these testing mornings.  It is also a good idea to send a snack and water bottle.

Dear Snow Families,

In efforts to maintain a safe environment for our students, I am writing this letter to inform you about some issues we are experiencing during drop off and pick up times in the parking lot.  Student safety is a priority.

If you are dropping off your child by way of the parking lot, please park in a spot and walk your child to the door.  If you choose to not park, please wait in the drop off line with patience.  We are noticing cars are speeding, and cars not waiting in line- but driving around the vehicle in front of them.

As you drop off or pick up your child, please follow these guidelines:

  • Do not park in handicap spots without a sticker or tag
  • Double parking is not permitted
  • Drop off in a single file line and use patience to wait for your turn
  • When dropping off, please pull up to the first cone so traffic does not get too back up
  • Students should cross at the crosswalk with the crossing guard
  • The bus loading zone is for busses only

Allowing yourself 10 extra minutes for drop off and pick up will alleviate much of the mad rush.  Creating a meeting spot with your child is a great way to be safe and time efficient.  Thank you in advance for ensuring our students are safe.

Last call for t-shirt orders

All Earth Day t-shirt orders are due tomorrow (Wednesday, May 8).  These shirts will be worn at our City Beautiful Parade. Additional order forms are in the Main Office.  Shirts are $6.  If you would rather not purchase a shirt, students may wear a Snow School shirt or the color blue.  🙂

Good afternoon! If you’d like to purchase a t-shirt for your child to wear for our City Beautiful Parade, please send this order form back to school by Wednesday, May 8th.  The cost is $6.  Our parade will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th.  Thank you.

Raffle Basket – PTA end of the year picnic

2nd Grade Raffle Basket

Dear 2nd Grade Families,

PTA will be hosting our annual end-of-the-year school picnic on Friday, June 7th.  They are asking each class to donate a themed-basket to be raffled off. The theme of our 2nd grade basket is “SPORTS.”  If you are able, please donate something related to the “SPORTS” theme. A lucky winner will take the basket home on the night of the picnic!  All proceeds benefit our PTA.

*** Please donate by Friday, May 31st so that PTA can collect our items and wrap them in a basket.***
