NWEA MATH TEST THIS WEEK – Begins Tomorrow

Dear Families,

The students did GREAT on the NWEA reading test last week!  Tomorrow we will begin the NWEA math test.  Please be sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.  It is also a good idea to send a snack and water.  I appreciate your support!  Reading and Math Scores will be sent home as soon as everyone has finished the math portion.

Have a great week!

2:30 music rehearsal today / concert this evening

Good afternoon!

If you can’t make it to our evening concert at 6:00p.m. tonight, feel free to stop by our rehearsal.  It will take place at 2:30 outside on the upper elementary blacktop.  For those who are coming tonight, please drop your child off with me in the gym at 5:50 p.m.  Then you may go find a cozy spot outdoors to watch the concert.  Bring blankets and lawn chairs if you’d like.  After our class sings, the students will be directed to locate you in the crowd and sit with you for the remainder of the concert. If it rains, the concert will be in the gym.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This week….

NWEA Reading Testing begins Tuesday A.M.  Please be sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep, healthy breakfast and brings a snack and water bottle to school.  I will provide brain breaks and pause the sessions so that the students will perform at their best.  It is beneficial to talk to your child about taking his/her time to show how much they’ve learned and grown this year.

Wednesday – Late Start/ 9:35 A.M. arrival.  NWEA Reading Testing continues.  Music Concert 6 P.M.

Thursday – City Beautiful Parade 1:30.  Wear your new Snow Earth Day Shirt, any Snow Apparel or the color blue! Also, to remember to wear cozy walking shoes.
