End of the Year Picnic – Tomorrow :)

We’re just days away from the annual Snow School Picnic; this Friday from 5-8pm.
All students who attend will be registered to win a free bike (two students/grade) donated by PTA. We also have bounce houses, face painters & a Pie throw activity.
We are asking for donations and volunteers through our signup genius link:

If you can donate baked goods, there will be a rack outside the office on Friday morning. All desserts are free to families so we appreciate your donation! The PTA will provide hot dogs, pizza, chips & drinks.
Lastly, we have over 15+ Raffle baskets filled with great gifts for our kids. We couldn’t have done this without the help from our teachers and Snow families — thank you!
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!

News for tomorrow – Thursday, June 6th

We will begin our day with… Field Day!!! 🙂  Field day will last from 9:00-11:00 A.M.  Parent volunteers, please sign in at the office and report to Mr. Moyer by 8:45 A.M.  Students, please remember to bring a change of clothes, shoes and a water bottle.  A couple of the stations involve water!  Yes, you will get wet! 🙂  We are thankful to Mr. Moyer for organizing this special event for us!  Also, thank you to Mrs. Socia for the popsicles to conclude our field day! 🙂

Tomorrow is the last day to send in a box of cereal for The Cereal Drive.  A special thank you to Mrs. Jaafar for organizing this drive to support those in need.  🙂

Cereal Drive

Are you able to donate a box of cereal?  If so, please send it to school by June 6th to help those suffering from hunger in SE Michigan.  Gleaners Community Food Bank will distribute the cereal collection to children and their families over the summer.

Reading Homework

Starting today, book bags will no longer be sent home.  Students are still expected to read each night.  They may read books from home or the local library.  Students may also access i-Ready and MobyMax from home.  Thank you for your support in your child’s reading skill development.

No School:  May 24-27th  Enjoy your holiday weekend!  A special thank you to our U.S. veterans and for all who are currently serving our country in the armed forces.  We are so thankful for you!

Tuesday:  Wear your pajamas to school 🙂

Wednesday:  Quiet Day

Thursday:  Read Outside Day – Bring a blanket or small towel and books from home

Friday:  Silly sock and shoe day

NWEA Reports will come home next week.  We finished testing today.  I’m SO PROUD of everyone’s progress!  WOW! 🙂
