Cranbrook Field Trip

Thursday, February 13th

Dear 2nd Grade Families,

We are all set for our field trip to The Cranbrook Institute of Science tomorrow!  Please make sure your child arrives at school on time and brings a disposable lunch.   Students will have a great day of learning and fun!

2nd graders will be traveling to The Cranbrook Institute of Science on Thursday, February 13th. The cost is $12. Please send a lunch with disposable drink on this day. We need chaperones! 🙂

Friday, February 14th is Valentine’s Day. Students may bring in valentine cards for their classmates if they wish. Please send a shoe or cereal box for students to store their cards. If you’d like to send a bag of chips or package of cookies for the class to enjoy, they would love any donation! 🙂

• Popcorn Friday is this coming Friday, the 31st! Bags are $0.50 each. Slips were sent home last week with the PTA Newsletter. If you don’t have a slip, you can send in a piece of paper with your name, teacher, and the amount. Thanks for supporting this fun day!

• We want your input at the next PTA meeting on February 6, at 3:45pm in the library. We will be discussing issues related to traffic & parking around the school, as well as plans for the end of the year picnic, and other upcoming events. Kids are welcome!

• FREE Family Movie Night! Come watch Gnomeo & Juliet (rated G) for a Valentine’s themed evening at Snow. February 7th, doors open at 6:15. Bring blankets and pillows. Popcorn, drinks, and glow-sticks will be for sale. See you there!
