Our class will be visiting the school book fair on Tuesday, March 28th, 1:00-1:30. If you would like your child to purchase a book or other school supply item, please send money on this day. A special thank you to our Snow PTA for organizing this fun event for our students! We appreciate your support in our students’ reading skill development.

Spirit Week – Read Across America with Dr. Seuss
In honor of Reading Month, here is a fun spirit week schedule that coordinates with 5 different Dr. Seuss books. It will begin the week of March 13th. 🙂
Monday 3/13– “Sleep Book”

Field Trip
Mrs. Nowak has scheduled a field trip for us to watch a play at the Ann Arbor Theater. We will be traveling by school bus on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Students must pay $9.25 by tomorrow, March 3rd, to reserve a seat in advance. If you need until Monday to pay, please let me know and we can work something out. I will choose the 4 parent chaperones tomorrow. Please let me know by tomorrow if you’d like to chaperone.

Book Swap March 16 & March 23
During Winter Break we are asking families to participate in a Habit 4 Win/Win activity. Please sort through your books at home. IF there are any you no longer want please bring them to Snow School and put them in the bin by Mrs. Bush’s room.
These books will then be reused in our Thursday (3/16 and 3/23) Book Share table. Each book will cost $.50. This is a win/win because you are reorganizing your books (discovering some you may have forgotten) AND you are helping a friend to buy a new book at a low cost. The money will be used by the Leader in Me Team to complete the main hallway decorating.
