Holiday Spirit Week

Monday, Dec. 18:  “Baby it’s cold outside”

Accessorize your outfit with a winter hat and scarf.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 19:  “Holiday Sweater Day”

Wear a festive or ugly sweater.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 20:  “White Out”

Wear white like the winter snow and ice.

 

Thursday, Dec. 21:  “Holiday Cheer”

Wear your BEST holiday outfit.

 

Friday, Dec. 22:  “Snowed In”

Wear your pajamas and slippers. (Please keep our school dress code in mind.  Pajamas must be appropriate for school; please no shorts or spaghetti strapped tank tops.)

Field Trip $ Due Tuesday

If you haven’t already paid, please send $12 cash for your child’s upcoming field trip to Cranbrook which will take place on Friday, January 19th.  We are all set with chaperones now.  🙂 Thank you to everyone who has volunteered!

Music Concert Rescheduled to Tuesday

Hello, School Community!

Our Winter Concert has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 19!  The concert will begin at 6 pm!  All second grade students should report to school at 5:45 and all third grade students should report to school at 6 pm.  Thanks for your help and understanding, sure hope to see everyone at the concert!

 

 

Science Projects

Good afternoon families of students grades 3-5,
This year your child will be required to do a science experiment.  Requirements will be sent home this evening.  Please have your child search/brainstorm ideas that may interest him/her.  The “Science Fair Project Getting Started” Idea Slip is due back to your child’s classroom teacher before the winter break.

Family Science Night

Dear Snow Families,
We are very excited to bring to Snow School our 5th Annual Family Science Night!  It will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.  The evening will begin in the gym with the science assembly, “Dumpster Doug.”  After the show, families are invited to walk through the hallways to view our students’ science project displays.  Please save the date to celebrate our accomplishments!

Chaperones to our field trip in January

Hello!

Movie Night Tonight

PTA will be hosting Movie night tonight. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the movie will begin promptly at 6:15. Bring your blankets and pillows and come watch Polar Express! There will be popcorn and treats for sale. If you would like to donate any items for the bake sale there will be a rack by the office this morning or you can bring your donations at 6:00 when the doors open. As a reminder, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
