Halloween
Good morning,
We will be having a small Halloween party on Wednesday, October 31st, at the very end of the day. The party will consist of snacks and a video. Your child is welcome to wear his/her costume to school for the entire day. Please refrain from using make-up and sending masks and weapons. I will not be needing any parental help, but would like donations for snacks, treats and paper products. We have 19 students. If you’d like to send something in, please email me at:

Popcorn Day Tomorrow
Friday, October 19th will be popcorn day.
50 cents per bag

POPCORN day Friday!
Snow PTA will be holding its first popcorn sale of the year on Friday, Oct. 19. Students can order bags for 50 cents each. Please turn the money into your child’s teacher with the student’s name and the number of bags he or she wants Popcorn will be distributed near the end of the day.
Some parents/adults are also needed to help with popping and bagging the popcorn. We will start that about 11 a.m. Meet in the lobby. For questions, contact PTA President Michelle Giles.

Snow Read at Home Plan
Dear Snow Families,
Great news! Snow School is continuing our Read at Home Plan. With our new Book Room, every Snow student will go home with “Good Fit” Books daily! “Good fit” books are books that are not too hard and not too easy. The expectation is that students improve their reading skills and develop a love for reading.
Snow School Read at Home Plan
- Reading Book Bags will go home daily with “Good Fit” Books
- Students must read daily:
- Grades (K-1) 15+ minutes daily
- Grades (2-5) 30+ minutes daily
- Reading Logs- Signed daily by parents and checked by teachers.
- MobyMax (Students can login through CLEVER on Dearborn Schools home page. Please contact Mrs. Bush bushm@dearbornschools.org for assistance if needed.
