Logging into CLEVER from home computer

Dear Parents,

There have been a few requests for directions to log in to CLEVER.

On your home computer, an adult has to log in to get their email opened.  For students to log in to CLEVER, the STUDENT must be logged on to the computer with THEIR email and password.

To do this, you need to open your email and click in the upper right-hand corner on the icon for you ( sometimes a photo or initial).

Click  ADD ANOTHER ACCOUNT

Then input your child’s student number 2——–@dearbornschools.org

Then enter their password: their birthday

Then: GO to the Dearborn Public Schools home page.

Click Resources and Students.

Click CLEVER.  Finally, click Moby Max.  IF you still cannot login please email me at bushm@dearbornschools.org

Snack on Friday

Good afternoon,

We will be having a small party on Friday, Dec. 21st.  It will consist of a holiday cartoon and snacks.  If you’d like to donate something please send me a message.  We have 19 students.

Suggested items:  cheese and crackers, popcorn, baby carrots and dip, fruit slices, cookies, brownies, juice boxes, paper plates, napkins

Moby Max Challenge Winners

Congratulations to the top 25 students who earned the most points on Moby Max for our school-wide challenge!  Students who earned a top 25 position from our class are:

Ryan, Miles, Kingston, Maleeah, Maria, Leighton, Christian, Jasmine, Ali, Alaa and Octavios.

They will be rewarded with a pizza lunch tomorrow!

The next challenge will start today and go through the winter break until January 18th.

Accessorize your outfit with a winter hat and scarf.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 18:  “Snow” Day

Wear  Snow school apparel.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 19: “White Out”  

Wear white like the winter snow and ice.

 

Thursday, Dec. 20: “Snowed In”  

Wear your pajamas and slippers. (Please keep our school dress code in mind.  Pajamas must be appropriate for school; please no shorts or spaghetti strapped tank tops.)

 

Friday, Dec. 21:  “Holiday Sweater Day”  

Wear a festive or ugly sweater.

 

Classroom News

1) We will be having a math test on Friday, December 14th.  We’ve been working hard in class and completing our homework exercises!  Please see the study guide that is coming home this evening to help your child prepare.  Thank you for your cooperation.

2) Are you free tomorrow at 3:00?  If so, come in and learn how we have been doing math this year.  You can sit and watch our student math leaders teach.  Also, you can do a math sprint with us! 🙂

3) I-Ready Reading Diagnostic Test Results are coming home today.  I-Ready is a program that we use to help students improve their reading skills.  Students’ scores should have improved since we first took the test in October.  Please sign the result paper and have your child return it to school tomorrow.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
