Hoping to return Monday, May 1st

Good evening,

Originally, I was expecting to return to work this Thursday, but due to some reoccurring issues with pain and fatigue, I will need to be out on Thursday and Friday this week as well.  Mr. G. will be our sub.  I hope to return to school on Monday, May 1st.  Thank you for your understanding, prayers and well-wishes.  See you soon. 🙂

Mini Martian Marathon Runners

Congratulations to all of our students who competed in the Mini-Martian Marathon today!!  Ryan, Adam, Sara S., Maggie and Kayla all competed from our class!  Way to go!!  Here are some photos shared by Mrs. Ridgeway. 🙂  If you’d like me to post other photos, please send them to my email:  grizzed@dearbornschools.org

I was bummed I couldn’t be there to cheer on my Snow kids and my daughter Kenzie who represented Nowlin Elementary.  My husband was there with her at the race.  Her photo is the last one.  🙂

Enjoy your weekend!!

Actress Maggie

Our very own Maggie was an actress in the play today.  You can see her kneeling in the middle right of photo.  Thanks for sharing Mrs. Grajek!  Great job Maggie!!! 🙂

Rainy walk

Good morning!

Please remember to dress your child accordingly for the walk over to Stout this morning.  Umbrellas, jackets and rain/snow boots will be needed.  Also, it might be a good idea to pack an extra pair of dry shoes and socks in your child’s backpack for the afternoon.  If the weather is harmful, the class will not attend the play.  Thank you for your cooperation and have a great day!

Field Trip Tomorrow – Rain Gear

Tomorrow, April 20th, we will be walking over to Stout Middle School to watch the play Aladdin Jr.  Please make sure you have turned in a permission slip for your child to attend.  Mrs. Grajek will accept them tomorrow morning if you haven’t turned one in yet.  This trip is free of cost.  There is a chance of rain.  Please have your child wear rain gear and bring an umbrella for the walk.  If the weather is severe, we will not attend.  See Mrs. Grajek if you’d like to chaperone.  Thank you!

Field Trip to Stout permission slips due tomorrow & chaperones

Good evening,

Your child should have brought home a permission slip to walk to Stout Middle School on Thursday, April 20th to watch the musical, “Aladdin Jr.”  If you’d like your child to attend, please sign the slip and have your child return it to school tomorrow.  The field trip is free of cost.  Mrs. Grajek could use some parent helpers with walking the class to and from Stout and for behavior management during the play.  If you’d like to chaperone, please let her know. Due to limited seating, younger siblings will not be able to attend.   Our class can take 2-3 chaperones.  Please remember, the Dearborn Police will be crossing us at Oakwood Blvd. for our safety.  🙂  I hope that all of our students will be able to attend this fun event.

A note from our PTA President : )

Dear Snow Families,
The Snow Carnival is less than a month away.  Hopefully the classroom teachers are well on their way to gathering donations for their raffle baskets.  We appreciate your support on this!  About half of the revenue for the picnic comes from raffle baskets, which allows us to keep prices low for food, activities and games so struggling families can still participate.  If you are able to contribute, please send in items by Tuesday, May 2nd.

Secondly, we need help recruiting volunteers for the picnic.  Please consider helping make our evening a successful one! Here is the link to sign up:
