Congratulations to the Third and Fourth Marking Period Award Winners! Great Work!

• Summer Reading Lists were sent home today. Students are required to read 3-5 novels within their Lexile Range for next year. Students MAY, but are NOT required to begin a book talk on ONE of the books. The book talk sheets were passed out today, but the same assignment will also be passed out by your child’s seventh grade teacher. Students may choose books from the list OR choose on their own. The goal is to read within 100 of their Lexile range.
• Students completed a Cummulativve Review over Vocabulary Unit 1-11. We would STRONGLY encourage students to work on the rest of the vocabulary book over the summer, including the on-line component.
