Footslogger Post

The Footslogger Crew, Haigh’s walk-to-school program, is looking for parent volunteers to lead the crew in the 2016-17 school year.

It may be the easiest gig you volunteer for during your Haigh careers: Show up at the Dunworth Pool parking lot by 8:10. Let the Footsloggers play until 8:20. Escort them through Levagood Park and across N. Silvery Lane to Haigh. That’s it.

If any of this has piqued your interest or you are ready to sign up now or you are interested in leading a “walking school bus,” please contact me on my cell at 313.670.6450 or email me at teresaduhl@gmail.com.

I’m happy to talk with you one on one about the details and answer any questions you might have. Contacting me does not put you on the hook.

I would like to have all of the volunteers lined up before the end of this school year, so please contact me as soon as you can.

Many thanks,
Teresa

M Step Testing

The students have completed their ELA testing for the M Step.  Next week we will do the math portion of the test. That will leave us only the science to complete, either at the end of next week or the beginning of the following week. Most of the children are taking their time on the test. Please continue to encourage this behavior as they complete the M Step.
