I hope everyone enjoyed their summer! It went by so fast and now we are back to start another year.

I’m sure you received the note to let you know there are 3 classes of fourth graders this year. We will be team teaching and looking forward to another great year.

My blog will be used to keep you up to date on classroom events, testing, and what we are working on in reading and writing. I will also post classroom pictures.

Thomas participated in a 20 mile bike race, Tour de Cure, to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. The ride took place in Ann Arbor over the weekend and he raised over $1000. Great job Thomas!

Today we took apart owl pellets to see what they ate in their part of the food chain.  I have attached a video to explain what they are and how they are regurgitated by the owl.

Today we worked on removing a fossil like a paleontologist.
