Regions and Opinions

images

We are combining our writing and regions study into a project. The students will work with a partner to create an opinion piece that states why their region is the best one to live in. They will focus on climate, land, and places of interest for their region. Then they will present the project to the class on Friday, October 14.

Field Trip

The trip to Oakwood Nature Center was awesome last year.  I have attached some pictures from last year so you can see what the canoe looks like. It has a much wider base than a regular canoe.  This make it  more stable and less likely to flip and the students wear life vests. The students last year really enjoyed this trip. It is a wonderful opportunity for us. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to email me
