I have updated the special schedule for my class. Hopefully nothing else will change and this will remain for the rest of the year. It is located on the Weekly Special Schedule page.

If you missed our Open House or you still have any curriculum questions for the 4th grade.  We are meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 in room 1. All four of the 4th grade teachers will be there.

Attendance of parents for our open house was great. I was excited to meet new parents and see repeat parents! I’m looking forward to this year – I expect it will be great!

Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 8:00 a.m. the fourth grade will have a short meeting to go over the curriculum and other procedures. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Izbicki’s classroom, room 1. If you have time, please stop in. I will post notices from the meeting on my blog for those who are not able to attend.

If you haven’t turned in your field trip permission slip and money, please turn it in by Monday. Below you will see a few pictures from our previous trips. It has been one of the students’ favorite trips.

There has been a change with our special schedule. My students now have gym tomorrow. Please let them know so they will have the right shoes and clothes for gym.

I have updated the schedule for the 2017 – 18 school year on the weekly special classes page. It is still early and the classes can get changed around.  I will let you know if there are any changes.

I think there might have been an error on the suggested supply list for 4th grade. Here is the list that should have went out:

• number 2 pencils
• colored pencils
• pair of scissors
• eraser
• 4 dry erase markers – black is great
• several glue sticks
• 4 stitched composition notebooks
• ruler
• protractor
• crayons
• All of these items can be stored in a pencil case or pencil box
