We are discussing energy (kinetic and potential). Our classes were observing the transfer of energy from the student to the swing by taking notes and writing about it.

Please make sure you have an updated background check in the office. I can only take parents that have been cleared by the district. It must be done 2 weeks before the trip. If you would like to go on the next field trip please stop by the office so you will be ready. Thank you! We really appreciate when parents are able to come and share the adventure.

There was a mistake on the field trip permission slip. The money must be in by Wed. Oct. 3.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

In their Social Studies notebook the students have a map of the US with landforms marked on it and a sheet of physical characteristics. They will need to identify the 10 landforms by picture, definition, or location. Each student also made a slide presentation that they can use to study. It is located on their google classroom site.

On Monday, we will start Lesson 7 (Topic C- Check out Parent Tips for Eureka Math for guidance). This lesson will be covering rounding multi-digit numbers. I have included a video for you to get familiar with this lesson.

The students enjoy this song/video called Tour the States. It is a great way to learn more about the states (landforms, products, location, and many other things).
